My respect for Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia, hasn't changed at all. He was the best Foreign Minister that we had and it is in this role that I grew to admire and respect him. It is not his fault that he wished not to carry on the "works" of his predecessor Tun Dr. Mahathir. Should it be otherwise, perhaps he may not be in such a political quandary as he is now. If only Pak Lah remained as he was then.
There has also never before been more freedom of speech in the country. To this Pak Lah I salute you.
